Hi, The site is looking really attractive. Signing up was easy until I came to upload my photo… it looked as though it was uploading OK but it hasn’t appeared – and I can’t find a way to try to upload it again.
Also what is an avatar? (pardon my ignorance but I bet I won’t be the only one who doesn’t know!)

Just had another try ‘changing my avatar’. Tried uploading a JPEG photo and the error message told me I could only use JPEG, GIF etc. Grrrr!
Third time lucky – tried a much smaller JPEG and it worked. Do you need to advise people on a size limit? anyway, well done otherwise!

Hi Lesley, thanks for your feedback. I’ll look into the image upload to see if the system has a size limit in place that we need to make users aware of. Pleased to see that you did manage to upload an image to complete your profile though.
registering for the dinner could be a lot easier, i don´t believe i have managed it yet.
should be just a couple of clicks no. i clicked on the mail
Hi, thanks for your comment. Bookings for events can only be accepted from registered users of the site. So if you already have an account, you can click the event link in the email, select the number of places to reserve and click the reserve button. As easy as that. If you’re not yet a registered user of the site, then you are asked to first create your account before you can register for a Business Lunch event. Yes, this is an extra step in the process, but it’s a one-off registration and you’re then registered with full member access to all the features in the site. If you have any problems, let us know and I’ll be happy to help.
September Business lunch was my first time. I was lucky to meet many interesting people and I think it was very well-organized. My congratulations to the organization. I hope to come back many more times!

Please could you tell me what size picture I need to upload in order for it not to be screwed up when I crop it? This one you see here is the umpteenth attempt but can’t get it right. Thanks!

The largest size used is around 150 x 150px, but the system will allow you to upload much larger images, which you can then crop using the crop tool which is presented immediately after uploading your image.
Could you describe exactly what the issue is? Did you have a problem placing and cropping the image? Or with uploading an image? If you can let us know then we’ll see how best we can help. Thanks.
